OUR WINES > SEA MIST®

Russian River Valley is regarded as the top appellation in California for producing cool climate varietals such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Russian River Valley is only minutes away from the Northern Coast Line of the Pacific Ocean. Every evening, cool fog that the locals refer to as the Sea Mist, rolls in from the ocean to gently envelope the grapes in the field. This produces exceptional wine with tremendous complexities.

TASTING NOTES

SEA MIST CHARDONNAY

Medium straw and bright in color. With a very appealing nose of floral honeysuckle there is a satisfying weight and roundness that is mouthcoating with melon, apple, and just a hint of pineapple that lingers on the palate. The Sea Mist Chardonnay is great as both a stand up wine and with an array of summer foods.
*90 Points – BEST BUY * – 2009 Vintage - Wine Enthusiast December 2010 Issue

SEA MIST PINOT NOIR

Very polished and elegant with classic Pinot Noir markers. The dimension of fruit and oak in the nose match the complexity of flavors on the palate. Raspberries, deep cherry and smoky oak followed by plum, mocha, and cedar. Good deep, pretty Pinot color, and light tannins with a sustained dark cherry aromatic cedar finish.
*88 Points – Silver Medal* - 2009 Vintage – California State Fair Wine Competition 2011

SEA MIST SAUVIGNON BLANC

A refreshing and complex Sauvignon Blanc. The crisp, but rich flavors of this Sauvignon Blanc lean to lemon custard and a citrus tinged nose. The complexities of its minerality and flint show on the palate. This is a long, rich flavored wine that is filled with melon, fig, and lemon grass flavors.
